Hey Team, These past few months have been difficult for all of us. We’ve all experienced economic uncertainty, physical isolation, and other concerns that are unique to this time. And after three months, all the distancing and cancelled events have started to take a toll. Plus, with states beginning to open back up, it may feel like we’re out of the woods and ready to go back to normal. Well, we wanted to remind you that things are not normal yet. A recent forecast projects the number of COVID-19 related deaths doubling in the U.S. to over 200,000. Now, we’re not trying to scare you. Instead, we’re hoping this wake-up call will inspire you to continue practicing best practices to reduce COVID-19 spread.

To combat isolation, we encourage you to set up video chats or calls with friends and family! Remember that just because states are opening up, does not mean it is necessarily safe to return to normal. By following these measures outlined here, we can save lives and protect vulnerable populations like the elderly, immunocompromised, people of color, and others.
