John,

I am close to deciding whether to make another run for U.S. Senate here in Nebraska – this time against billionaire Republican Pete Ricketts.

We’ve had a new poll come out showing we would start in a virtual tie – 46% to 45% – and I’ve heard from thousands of people encouraging me to do it.

When I ran against Republican Deb Fischer last year, we got 47% of the vote in one of the closest Senate races in the country. I want to make a decision very soon about making another Senate run, but it’s going to be hard on my family again.

If there’s enough financial support to take on a literal billionaire and win, I’ll do it. But I need to know now if you’ll have my back. Please, will you make a monthly donation right now to my future campaign against Republican Pete Ricketts for U.S. Senate here in Nebraska? If I ultimately decide not to run, we’ll refund your donation.

The idea of replacing a literal billionaire with a blue-collar mechanic in the Senate sounds like a pretty good idea right now – and the polling shows we could do it and win.

But if I’m going to ask my wife and kids to go through another grueling campaign, I need to know people like you will be with me 100% again.

Thanks, as always,

Dan Osborn
