John,
Here's what I know about the state of politics: the GOP is organized. They're funding local races. They're showing up to school board meetings and city council hearings. They understand that real power starts locally and builds up.
But so do we. And the difference is we're not doing it for power or the headlines. We are organizing to make life better for people.
We are knocking on doors. We are offering free candidate trainings. We’re hosting listening sessions, registering voters, and organizing in every corner of the state.
And we’re doing it for progress. For the parent who needs childcare. For the student who deserves a fully funded school. For the worker who wants a voice on the job. For you, John.
And it's working. This legislative session, because of Democrats, we passed a $55.8 billion budget that invests in education and healthcare. We’re expanding early childhood programs.
We're seeing record candidate recruitment in races that matter – city councils, school boards, state legislature seats that determine whether your property taxes go up or your kids' schools get the resources they need.
This isn't glamorous work. It’s just the steady grind of democracy.
But here's the thing about steady work: it multiplies. Every door knocked builds trust. Every candidate recruited strengthens the bench. Every voter registered shifts the math.
Democracy isn't a spectator sport, though. And the work that matters most happens when nobody's watching. Will you chip in $150, $100, $50, $25, or whatever amount works best for you today? [[link removed]]

Your support helps us build and support this infrastructure. Every dollar goes directly to the work of training organizers, supporting candidates, registering voters, and reinforcing the foundation we have so we can keep growing it.
Sincerely,
