As someone who likely does not live in NYC, why should you care about the NYC mayoral election?

The mayoral race in NYC, the biggest city in America, has turned into a referendum against how we fight back against Trump.

On one side, is former Governor Andrew Cuomo, who up until this morning was the frontrunner in this race. And on the other is Zohran Mamdani. Both claim to want to take on and resist Trump however we have serious reasons to doubt the sincerity of one of the candidates:

Andrew Cuomo has accepted hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of contributions from the same billionaires who funded President Trump. They are backing him because they know that he will rhetorically attack Trump but in practice he will offer no substantive action to crack down against the President.

Accepting money from MAGA backers makes you a traitor to our cause.

No Dem Left Behind is on the front lines of the fight to ensure that the real democrat in this race Zohran Mamdani, who is running on an unapologetically anti-Trump agenda and has accepted no MAGA money, has a fighting chance.

Because of NYC campaign finance laws, Zohran’s campaign is no longer able to accept donations which is why No Dem Left Behind made a $10,000 dollar contribution to the official Mamdani support PAC. Now thanks to support from groups like us and that of Democrats from across the nation, Zohran has taken the lead in this critical race as of this morning.

Election day is tomorrow. A victory in this race for Zohran would deal a major blow to the MAGA billionaires who think their Trojan horse candidates will go unnoticed. Can we count on you to split a donation between the Zohran support PAC (New Yorkers for Lower Costs) and No Dem Left Behind to help defeat MAGA’s chosen candidate and elect a Democrat who will ensure NYC stands up to Trump?
