Hello, I'm Megan Simpson and I'm the campaign manager for Governor Steve Bullock's campaign for U.S. Senate. I'm writing to you personally today with an important update on our race.

I never expected us to have such a strong start. Weeks after launching our campaign, public polls showed us surging ahead. And now, The Cook Political Report is upgrading this race to "toss-up".

We've outraised our opponent in two consecutive fundraising periods, all without taking any money from corporate PACs (in fact, the majority of our donations come from folks like you responding to emails like this one -- which means a lot!)

But it's not all good news. Mitch McConnell's corporate donor network will be hammering us with attacks. Given McConnell's failure to deliver for working people, attacking us is the only chance they have to win.

This race could decide control of the Senate, and now that it's officially a "toss-up", our road is only going to get tougher from here. So, I'm asking:
