We wish we had better news, john.

Senate Republicans just released their version of Trump's "big beautiful" tax bill, and it’s even worse than we feared.

Here’s what’s in it:

→ Deeper cuts to Medicaid than what the House passed, threatening care for millions and putting rural hospitals—including many in Washington state—on the brink of closure.

→ Slashes to climate protections, while proposing to sell off national park land for profit.

→ A tax plan that still prioritizes the wealthy and big corporations at the expense of working families.

This isn't just reckless, it's beyond unacceptable and ridiculous.

When the House GOP passed their Medicaid cuts, Kim heard from so many of you who were outraged, scared, and ready to fight back.

Now, the Senate is doubling down, even though they know their constituents oppose these cuts. This isn’t fiscal responsibility, it’s cruelty, and it’s happening because extremists have too much power in Congress.

To stop these attacks on our health, climate, and public lands, we must win back the House in 2026, which means protecting frontline seats like WA-08. Can Kim count on you to chip in today to help us fight back and flip the House? >> [link removed]

Thank you,

Team Schrier
