John, the first five months of Donald Trump’s second presidency have been like nothing we’ve ever faced before.
Since Trump took office, the attacks on our rights, our families, and our communities have been nonstop. In just the past few weeks, the administration has made it harder for doctors to provide abortion care to pregnant people in medical emergencies , worked to eliminate civil rights protections for women and girls , and continued to ram through a budget bill that would strip health care coverage and access to reproductive health care from millions of people in our country .
They’re trying to wear us down—but we’re fighting back in the courts, on Capitol Hill, and in communities like yours, and we’re more fired up than ever. As we kick off our Summer Membership Drive, we need 200 NWLC members to join us by renewing their membership with a $15 gift by June 30 to ensure we have the resources to keep fighting back, no matter what they throw our way.
