Congress must act NOW. Take action →
John,
Over the weekend, Donald Trump once again abused his power as president, this time by issuing strikes on Iran without Congressional approval.

Presidents don’t have the power to declare war — that authority belongs to Congress, as outlined in the Constitution. Of course, that didn’t stop Trump.
Not only is Trump breaking the law, but he’s escalating conflict and trying to send us into another deadly, endless war in the Middle East using the same unproven talking points the Bush administration used to justify the war in Iraq.
We can’t sit back and let this happen, John. Congress has the power to stop this by voting for a War Powers Resolution, which a bipartisan group of legislators has already introduced — but it needs more support.
Sign our petition showing your support for this resolution and say NO to war on Iran!
