Hi John!
While the past month has had more than its share of devastating moments, including the horrifying political assassinations in Minnesota and the bombing of Iran, we can find hope and inspiration in the rapidly growing mass resistance to the fascist Trump administration — DSA has a vital role to play in this movement.
We will have our June Chapter Meeting this Saturday, June 28, 1-3 PM at the SEIU 521 Union Hall. This meeting's agenda will feature a Rapid Response Network training on how to support immigrant rights groups responding to ICE raids in our community, so be sure not to miss it! |

No Kings Protest |
|
On June 14th, Silicon Valley DSA Comrades joined the San Jose No Kings Rally. An estimated 12,000 people attended in San Jose alone, with early estimates of over 5 MILLION nationwide! In stark contrast, Trump's sad birthday parade had an estimated 250,000 attendees, many of them family of those in the parade. Keep resisting with us — the resistance is growing! Brew & Chew Ranked Choice Voting Social |

Our Electoral Working Group, alongside the Better Elections for Santa Clara County coalition, organized a successful Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) social this past Friday! Our goal was to educate the community about RCV as Santa Clara County decides whether to adopt it. We gathered at Strike Brewing to hang out, eat and rank cookies and beer, and enjoy some quality time. Save the date for the closing event on Friday, July 25, where we'll announce the winners! |
