Elected at 25 years old, Anderson is the youngest Democratic state party chair in the country. I have seen her leadership first-hand in North Carolina. She is an organizer’s organizer and a proud rural North Carolinian. Since her election in 2023 and re-election in 2025, Anderson has worked passionately, tirelessly and effectively to rebuild the North Carolina Democratic Party’s infrastructure into a year-round organizing and grassroots mobilization juggernaut.

Across party lines, 79% of Americans support Medicaid. In fact, 72% of Independents and 51% of Republicans say they will reject members of Congress in the House and Senate who vote to cut Medicaid. With outstanding Democratic leaders like Anderson Clayton and the power of our grassroots Volunteers in Politics, we can make sure people know if their Republican Representatives and Senators are voting to rip away their health care so they can warn them: Hands Off Medicaid or lose your re-election!
