Submit
your intentions for Three Holy Masses
June 24-26

Dear Friend,
Be sure to submit your intentions
for the three Holy Masses invoking the intercession of Our Mother of
Perpetual Help that will begin tomorrow. Presented below are several
compelling facts regarding the
miraculous image of Our Mother of Perpetual Help.
As a boy, Pope Pius IX always
prayed before the sacred image,
which was in San Matteo. In 1886, His Holiness allowed the
Redemptorists to take possession of the image from the Augustinians (Pope Leo XIV’s
order.) That was followed by a
great procession, in which the
image was carried throughout the Esquiline region of Rome, where the
image was enthroned on a high altar for public veneration in
Rome.
Reports of miraculous healings
spread rapidly throughout Rome. People came in droves to pray before
the image. A short time after that, the altar area was filled with
crutches and canes, no longer needed! Two weeks later, after the
solemn exposition, Pope Pius IX made a pilgrimage to the
shrine.
Pope St. Leo XIII, had a copy of an
image on his desk to remind him how powerful Our Mother of Perpetual
Help is.
Pope Benedict XV placed an image of
Our Mother of Perpetual Help over his chair of state in the throne
room.
During our three days of
meditations and prayers, we will invoke Our Mother of Perpetual Help,
just as many popes did, for all our needs, for nothing is
impossible.
It’s time to submit your intentions; be sure to join me in the prayers for each
day, beginning tomorrow, June 24.
Let us call on Our Mother of
Perpetual Help, whose name inspires confidence; for she will help us
in all our necessities of body and soul.
Yours in the Sacred Heart of Jesus
and the Immaculate Heart of Mary,
