FRANKLIN COUNTY - The Maine Department of Transportation will be doing roadway preservation work on Route 4 beginning Monday, June 23. The project area begins just south of Route 27 in Farmington and extends north 20.78 miles, ending 0.72 miles north of Bog Pond Road in Phillips. Work is scheduled to be completed by mid-October. Drivers may encounter a single-lane, alternating traffic pattern through project locations. The contractor on this project is Pike Industries of Fairfield, ME. The contract amount is $10,106,824.60.
