Hello John,

For more than sixty years, The University Bookman, founded by Russell Kirk, has been a forum for thoughtful reflection on the books and ideas that shape—and renew—our culture. In that spirit, editor Luke Sheahan continues to host The Book Gallery, a series of conversations with authors whose work engages deeply with the moral and cultural issues of our time.

We invite you to join us tomorrow evening at 7:00 p.m. ET for a live discussion with Ethics and Public Policy Center scholar, Dr. Nathanael Blake, on the enduring consequences of the sexual revolution. This episode will examine the promises made by that cultural shift—and the costs it has imposed on individuals, families, and communities.

Dr. Blake explores how the rejection of traditional sexual ethics has contributed to rising social and psychological distress, from fractured homes and relationships to widespread loneliness, depression, and despair. His critique is incisive, but his message is not without hope.

Drawing on the Christian moral tradition, he points toward a more humane and redemptive vision of love—one that honors the dignity of the person and the permanence of the family.

We also encourage you to explore our growing archive of Book Gallery episodes, now available on YouTube. Past conversations have featured authors on topics ranging from the Habsburgs and Christopher Dawson to American political thought and Russell Kirk’s Old House of Fear.

You can register for the  webinar at this link.

We hope you’ll join us on June 24 at 7pm for this important conversation—and others to come.

Warm regards,

The Editors
The University Bookman
