Friend, I never needed political pundits or psychologists to tell me that my uncle Donald shouldn’t be anywhere near the Oval Office.

I spent much of my childhood in the very house where Donald grew up. The cruel, weak, and deeply insecure man who brought our democracy to the brink of disaster is the same man I have always known.

Seeing him sworn in for a second time was an absolute gut punch.

This fight is personal for me, friend, and as more people lose their jobs or have their rights and freedoms trampled, it’s becoming personal for them, too.

I launched the Democracy Defense Fund to build a grassroots movement to secure our electoral system from Donald and the authoritarian traitors who seek to destroy it.

In order to finally defeat Donald once and for all, we must:

1. Flip the House. The GOP’s majority is historically small and ripe for the taking, and if we retake the House, we can put a critical check on Donald’s power.
    
2. Take Back the Senate. We need a Democratic majority in the Senate to fight back against judicial appointments and prevent Donald from securing a generation of MAGA rule.
    
3. Take the fight to the States. We must continue to win critical gubernatorial elections and invest in flippable down-ballot races that have the potential to push back on Donald’s dangerous agenda through state legislatures.
    
4. Win in 2025. Virginia, New Jersey, Louisiana, and Mississippi all have important legislative elections in 2025, and both New Jersey and Virginia will also hold gubernatorial elections.

Winning big in these races would shift the narrative of GOP dominance and give Democrats serious momentum heading into a pivotal 2026 election cycle.
