Last night, President Trump bombed Iran, roping America into another foreign war without authorization from Congress.

This action is blatantly unconstitutional. 

Our founding fathers gave the power to declare war to Congress to avoid the scenario we find ourselves in now - a single mad man unilaterally starting an unjust and unpopular war.

Last week, Reps. Thomas Massie and Ro Khana introduced a War Powers Resolution, a federal law that prohibits the president from committing the United States to armed conflict without congressional approval.

Congress must immediately pass the War Powers Resolution to reign in Trump’s power and prevent the situation from escalating further and dragging our country into yet another bloody and expensive war in the Middle East.
