For the last several weeks, over $500,000 in outside Republican dark money has poured into our district – funding relentless attack ads aimed at distorting my record and weakening our campaign before it even ramps up.

As you read this, we’re being attacked on cable and broadcast TV. It's a full-blown misinformation blitz -- an entire year and a half before the election.

To call this aggressive would be an understatement.

The GOP dark money machine is on the attack earlier than ever before in what we already knew would be a brutal campaign to win our Trump+2 district.

And here’s a reality check: our fundraising is not keeping pace. The fact is with so much going on in Washington, we've had much less time to fundraise for my reelection, and we need to get moving to compete with this dark money blitz.
