I’m going to ask you to make a donation to my campaign for Governor of California. But first, I want to explain why this request is so important – especially right now.
June 30th marks an important fundraising deadline in the race for California Governor, when candidates are required to make fundraising totals public. Everyone -- especially those who've just jumped into the race -- will be watching to see where we stand. And whether we like it or not, pundits will define this race by these early numbers, and by extension, the future of our state.
I can't stress enough just how important it is to send a message of widespread support. The good news is the backing we've received so far has been overwhelming, but we need to keep the momentum going.
