We’re sharing our digital playbook to partner with the Poor People’s Campaign

John,

We’re in an historical moment that demands everyone come together to take action to fight systemic racism and inequalities.

But because we are still in a global health crisis, not everyone is able to take to the streets to protest. That’s why we’re using our digital playbook and harnessing the power of the Internet to partner with the Poor People’s Campaign for the Mass Poor People’s Assembly and Moral March on Washington Digital Justice Gathering on June 20 at 10 AM EST (with additional broadcasts at 6 PM EST and on June 21 at 6 PM EST).

RSVP to watch the broadcast and take part in the Digital Justice Gathering.

Over the last two years, the Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival has worked to lay the groundwork for a broad movement that could unite poor and impacted communities across the country. People across the nation are joining the Campaign to confront the interlocking evils of systemic racism, poverty, climate change and ecological devastation, militarism and the war economy, and the distorted moral narrative of religious nationalism.

They are coming together to demand that the 140 million poor and low-income people in our nation — from every race, creed, gender, sexuality, and place — are no longer ignored, dismissed or pushed to the margins of our political and social agenda.

The event on Saturday, June 20 will be a digital event to share the stories, demands, and solutions of poor and dispossessed people across every line of division. Can you RSVP right now and join the event this weekend?

When: Saturday, June 20 at 10:00 am EST
The event will also be broadcast on June 20 at 6:00 pm EST and on June 21 at 6:00 pm EST
Where: June2020.org
What: Hear from leaders, activists, and artists calling for an end to systemic racism, systemic poverty, ecological devastation, the war economy and militarism, and a distorted moral narrative of religious nationalism

We hope you’ll join us this weekend.

Together,

Caitlin at Fight for the Future
