Dear Jack,

As June draws to a close, we hope you've been enjoying the warmer weather and staying dry! This week has been a busy one for my office, and we're excited to share some of our latest updates.

Loudoun NAACP Juneteenth Celebration

On Juneteenth, we observe the profound significance of June 19, 1865, marking the pivotal day when the last enslaved African-Americans in Galveston, Texas, received word of their emancipation. This day serves as an important occasion for solemn remembrance, thoughtful reflection, and a celebration of freedom, while also reaffirming our collective commitment to the ongoing pursuit of justice and equality for all. Thank you to the Loudoun NAACP for their exceptional dedication in honoring the enduring legacy of Juneteenth and highlighting the imperative work that continues.

Happy to be joined by Senator Kaine and Delegate Reid for Juneteenth!

Thank you to the Loudoun County NAACP for putting together an inspiring celebration!

Happy Summer To Our Excellent Students, Faculty, and Staff!

As the academic year draws to a close, I wanted to extend my heartfelt congratulations and appreciation to each and every one of you for your incredible hard work, dedication, and resilience throughout what has truly been an excellent school year. To our amazing students, your commitment to learning, your curiosity, and your vibrant energy have made this year a resounding success, and we are immensely proud of your growth and achievements. To our dedicated teachers, your unwavering commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment has been truly inspiring, guiding our students with wisdom and care. And to our invaluable staff, from administrators to support personnel, your hard work, often behind the scenes, ensures that our students and teachers have the resources and support they need to thrive; your dedication makes a profound difference every single day. This past year has been filled with challenges and triumphs, and it is through your collective efforts that Loudoun County Public Schools continues to be a place of excellence and opportunity. Wishing you all a restful and rejuvenating summer break – you've earned it!

Loudoun No Kings Protest

On June 14, 2025, 2000 community members from across the county came together in Leesburg to protest the current presidential administration, its reactionary agenda, and the devastating impacts its policy decisions are having on our community and country. As your Delegate, I pledge to continue fighting for every Virginian and advocating for policies that fix problems, rather than exacerbate them.

It was an honor to stand with community members, public servants, and Loudouners of every background to promote democracy and American values.

Circa 2000 people showed up, ready to GET OFF THE MAT and fight for their community!

Welcoming #51 to Loudoun

Last week, we held a highly successful fundraising event in support of Delegate Michael Feggans. Given the current one-seat majority in the House of Delegates, with Delegate Feggans holding a pivotal position (he is known as our #51 as his race gave us the majority in 2023), his re-election is a paramount objective this election cycle. His continued service is integral to the passage of legislation, including my bills that have successfully advanced through the General Assembly and been enacted into law. The strong community support for this effort was exceptionally encouraging.

Leaders from across Loudoun turn out to support Delegate Michael Feggans' re-election campaign! We are revved up and ready to go for #51!

ENDORSEMENT ALERT: Giffords

I'm honored to be endorsed by Giffords, and I pledge to continue championing gun violence prevention in the Virginia legislature.

How My Office Can Help

Navigating state agencies can be confusing and difficult at times. As the delegate for House District 27, I can help you communicate with state agencies such as the Virginia Employment Commission, Departments of Taxation, Social Services, Transportation, and more! I can also submit inquiries with those agencies on your behalf. There are limits to what I can do, however. For example, I am unable to expedite cases or force state agencies to favor your inquiry, provide legal advice or recommend a specific attorney, intervene with judicial issues, overturn decisions, or be involved with matters between private businesses.

Whether you require my office’s assistance, want to bring an issue to my attention or invite me to a community event, please reach out! If there is any way I can assist you, please reach out here: https://atoosareaser.com/help/.

Alongside constituent services, I can submit drafts for commending and memorial resolutions. If you know of a person or organization in the district that deserves special recognition, please submit a request here: resolution request form.

If you are happy with he work I am doing, please consider donating to my campaign for re-election using the button below.
