Trade deals are still a threat - this is our chance to change that!

This could be it.
Stewart Hosie MP, (SNP) has tabled an amendment to the Trade Bill that, if it passes, could protect the NHS from trade deals forever.
The 17 MPs on the Bill Committee can vote for this amendment on Thursday 25th June. So that gives us just 6 days to convince enough of them to vote in favour!
If your MP is on the Committee, it's vital that you email them and ask them to vote for the amendment.
If your MP is not on the Committee, we need their help to pressure the Committee MPs to vote in favour - they can exert pressure inside Parliament.
If your MP is Stewart Hosie or Drew Hendry, the two SNP MPs who have put their names to the amendment so far, it would be lovely to send them an email to say thank you!
This could be the last chance to get an amendment this strong - if it doesn't pass, we might not get another shot.
MPs have to know that the public won't accept trade deals that affect the NHS - we'll fight them every step of the way. Let's put that protection in place now, so we can get on with fighting the pandemic, and doing trade that works for people over profit.
