Dear Graham Community,

School's out for the summer! As you make plans for a safe and healthy summer with your friends and family, please support Graham's plans to create a safe and healthy summer experience for our children and youth.

Your gift today to "Summer of Service" will ensure that 125 middle school kids partake in a safely-operated 6-week day camp. Your gift will also help to create first jobs for 70 teens and young adults who will work a "Summer of Service" in community outreach and as camp counselors in our Harlem and Hunts Point programs. We will engage the younger kids in team building activities involving arts, crafts, music, sports, and sheer fun, while the older youth will develop leadership skills, gain valuable work experience and make some money. All of this will take place under the caring supervision of Graham's coaches and staff who will incorporate social distancing practices and create a balance of virtual programming as well.

We all needed role models growing up. And we all needed encouragement to step out of our comfort zone and try new activities. "Summer of Service" provides a creative safe haven for kids and youth to learn, grow, and make new friends and wonderful memories.
