Power lies with the American people.

We demonstrated our support for our fellow Californians in L.A. and for the bravery and courage of Senator Padilla in asking questions to hold our government accountable.

When we showed up to No Kings protests this weekend, WE, the American people, were fighting for each other. I was honored to stand alongside you all, and I remain committed to fighting for you and your families every day in Washington.

This is our democracy. Protest is a constitutionally protected right. And this past weekend, John, we showed how important it is to us to protect and exercise our rights.
