We’re quickly approaching our end-of-quarter deadline. At the end of the month, we’re required by the FEC to report our fundraising data.
While this is a win for transparency in our politics, it gives the national GOP a chance to comb over our numbers for any sign of weakness. George is already facing early attacks from the NRCC and other super PACs because his seat is critical for House control.
Last year, Republicans spent upwards of $15 million in an attempt to stop him. We expect even more outside spending for his first re-election campaign.
We need a strong showing to rise above the attacks and prove that CA-27 is staying blue.
