Here’s an overview of all of the outright anti-democratic things Donald Trump and his administration have done this month:
- Indicted a colleague of mine, Rep. LaMonica McIver, and a member of the New Jersey delegation, on bogus charges.
- Assaulted Alex Padilla, a U.S. Senator from California, for asking a question at a public briefing.
- Threatened to arrest a sitting Governor.
This is not America. This is not what this nation was founded on. He is doing all of this unchecked, and Congressional Republicans aren’t doing anything about it.
I can guarantee you this: I will fight this destruction every step of the way.
