Chairwoman Stefanik Receives New York State Conservative Party’s Michael R. Long Award

House Republican Leadership Chairwoman Elise Stefanik was deeply honored to receive the Michael R. Long Award from the New York State Conservative Party at their third annual Welcome to Summer Dinner, a recognition named after one of her earliest mentors and dearest friends, Chairman Michael Long.

Chairman Long was not only a powerful force in New York's conservative movement, but he was also a personal guide and source of strength for Chairwoman Stefanik during her time as a public servant.

Also in attendance at the dinner were Chairman of the Republican National Committee Michael Whatley, Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (NY-11), Rep. Mike Lawler (NY-17), New York State Senate Minority Leader Rob Ortt, and Assembly Minority Leader Will Barclay, who are all key partners in the fight to SAVE NEW YORK!

Chairwoman Stefanik Statement on Knife-Wielding Illegal Alien Who 'Confronted and Chased' U.S. Attorney in Albany

House Republican Leadership Chairwoman Elise Stefanik is sounding the alarm after a crazed knife-wielding illegal "confronted and chased" the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District in New York in Albany this week.

House Republican Leadership Chairwoman Elise Stefanik stated -

"In Kathy Hochul's New York, nobody is safe, not even President Trump's U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of NY John A. Sarcone III, who was 'confronted and chased' by an illegal alien armed with a knife in Albany last night, the Times Union reported.

Three separate times, Hochul signed executive orders to protect violent illegal aliens from deportation. Kathy Hochul puts illegals first and New Yorkers last. We desperately need a governor who puts New Yorkers first and restores law and order to our streets."

This week, House Republican Leadership Chairwoman Elise Stefanik hosted an evening reception in Saratoga County, campaign event in Manhattan, followed by stops out in Suffolk County with her good friend and colleague Nick LaLota and then a visit to Smithtown, NY for a GOTV event for Supervisor Ed Wehrheim.

Everywhere she goes in the Empire State, Chairwoman Stefanik hears the same thing from hardworking New Yorkers: They're fed up with the crime and chaos that comes from Kathy Hochul's radical left policies. Chairwoman Stefanik Slams Letitia James for Baselessly Investigating Local Law Enforcement for Enforcing Immigration Law

This week, House Republican Leadership Chairwoman Elise Stefanik called out New York Attorney General Letitia James for weaponizing her office to attack our brave local law enforcement officers who are simply doing their jobs upholding federal immigration law.

While these illegal immigrants commit violent crimes across our state, AG James is busy TARGETING these sheriffs. It's an absolute disgrace and a clear sign that Albany's radical Democrats care more about protecting criminal illegal aliens than defending New Yorkers.
