I’m honored to fight for our collective liberation alongside Congresswoman Summer Lee. She’s overcome millions of dollars in attacks from AIPAC and far-right billionaires, and she’s not afraid to speak the truth about U.S. complicity in genocide.

Congresswoman Summer Lee is a consistent cosponsor of my legislation for Palestinians’ human rights, and she’s co-leading first-ever legislation to proactively restrict U.S. military aid to Israel: the Block the Bombs Act.

Summer said recently: “It’s disturbing how many warmongers there are in Congress—on both sides of the aisle.” I agree, and I’m grateful she’s a key cosponsor of my legislation to stop our colleagues in Congress from profiting off war.

She’s also pushing for the bold changes our communities deserve, like enacting reparations for Black Americans, taxing billionaires, abolishing super PACs, and expanding protections for our civil and constitutional rights.

At a time when right-wing billionaires are meddling in Democratic primaries to send pro-genocide and corporate Democarts to Congress, Summer and I need your support to stay in Congress fighting for you.

Will you chip in now to my and Summer Lee’s campaigns so we can keep leading the fight for a government that truly serves our communities and invests in saving lives—rather than spending billions of our taxpayer dollars on mass death and weapons industry profits?

In this Congressional term, Summer and I have introduced multiple policies together, including the Drain the Swamp Act to reinstate crucial White House ethics rules that Trump rescinded when he got into office. Summer said: “This bill is about putting people first and making sure our government answers to the people—not to the highest bidder, and not to the biggest check.”

We’re also leading the OLIGARCH Act to tax billionaires and invest in our communities. Summer explained: “The richest among us shouldn’t be paying a smaller percentage of their income to the federal government than most working families. They must pay their fair share.”

Summer and I know that it’s time for a radical redistribution of wealth: We need to tax the rich and get dark money out of our elections. I’m proud to cosponsor Summer’s policies such as the Abolish Super PACs Act, which would eliminate the legal loopholes that allow billionaires and dark money groups to drown out the voices of voters.

I’m also cosponsoring Summer’s Reparations Now Resolution to recognize the U.S. government’s obligations to Black Americans, and she is cosponsoring my recently reintroduced Justice For All Act to strengthen our civil rights, block racial profiling in police activity, and end qualified immunity for police.

And I’m cosponsoring Summer Lee’s True Justice Act to ensure the right to due process and dismantle the mass incarceration crisis. It would expand public defender services at bail hearings, which is proven to decrease the use of monetary bail and pretrial detention. As Summer said: “Due process is a constitutional right and justice should never be determined by your bank account.”

We will keep fighting for a society where everyone can thrive, and we will keep pushing back against Trump’s attacks on our communities and our rights—including our right to due process and our right to free speech/protest.
