There is no congressional Republican more vulnerable than Colorado's own Rep. Gabe Evans (CO-08). Evans narrowly defeated Rep. Yadira Caraveo last year by a super slim margin of around 2,449 votes. 

But instead of being a voice of moderation or common sense in today's pointlessly cruel MAGA GOP, Evans has worked hard to have it both ways: support Trump's toxic agenda while also feigning "concern" for the untold harm done to the people you are supposed to represent.

Or maybe Gabe just fell into the classic MAGA trap: believing that the Leopards Eating People's Faces Party simply wouldn't ever eat YOUR face.

That must be why Evans sent a letter to ICE expressing "concern" about rounding up non-violent immigrants and shipping them off with no due process:

It is far too late for bland statements of "concern" and pathetic letters to rogue, unaccountable MAGA foot soldiers.

There is only one person responsible for this calamity, one person commanding the cruelty: Donald Trump.

Gabe Evans knows this, but he is hoping that sending a feckless letter to ICE will provide him cover with the majority of his voting constituents who oppose the inhumanity and illegality of the MAGA regime. 

Perhaps Gabe saw thousands of people in the streets protesting and has a little MAGA Buyer's Remorse...

We cannot let Gabe Evans off the hook. He may be sweating it now, but we need to make sure his defeat is all but assured ahead of the Midterm elections.
