Happy Juneteenth, John. My family commemorates Juneteenth as a day to celebrate how far Black people have come, and a reminder of how justice and freedom have been delayed for Black people in America. For the Lamberts, it has always been a day to bring our community together and get folks to take action in our political process. Many Americans will mobilize today and this weekend to make their voices heard. It’s our duty to continue the example set by past generations, using our voices as powerfully at the ballot box as we do in the streets during protests. To create change, we have to raise awareness, organize, vote, and continue to hold our elected officials accountable in office. As we honor the progress made and look forward to the work ahead, make sure your voice is heard in each and every election. If you’re not already, take a moment today to register yourself to vote >> Let today be a reminder that our work isn’t done. Together, let’s keep fighting to make sure everyone’s voice is heard at the ballot box. Tericka Tericka Lambert Digital Content Director When We All Vote
