Under the Trump Administration’s orders, Veterans Affairs hospitals have walked back their guidelines protecting veterans from discrimination.

The Guardian: VA hospitals remove politics and marital status from guidelines protecting patients from discrimination
Department of Veteran Affairs says the changes come in response to a Trump executive order 'defending women'

Our veterans have sacrificed so much for this country, and yet they are being cast aside by the MAGA agenda.

This news comes after thousands of veterans continuing their service in the federal government have been laid off, and thousands more face uncertainty as House Republicans passed a bill gutting Medicaid and other essential programs.

I’m proud to support our veterans. It’s why I introduced a new bill that will cut through the red tape and address staffing shortages at the VA.

I’m fighting for our veterans, working families, and so much more in Congress every day. But I’ll admit, it’s an uphill battle with Republicans in charge.

If you’re with me, please consider chipping in $3 to protect this seat and flip the House majority so we can protect our veterans and make our country a more just place.

Thank you,

Nikki
