Let’s be real: National Dems haven’t touched this place since Reagan. But that doesn’t mean there isn’t power here. There is. It just isn’t being funded, supported, or noticed. So we’re doing what young progressives across Louisiana have always done; organizing anyway.

Most young people heading to Shreveport today are paying out of pocket to make sure they could come document this moment. Most drove over 4 hours. 

We’re here to shift the narrative. To show that young people are mobilizing, even if they have to road trip to Arkansas just to be in the room.
