First: Donald Trump signed an executive order to stop federal funding for NPR and PBS after falsely claiming for years that they are “biased and promote left-wing causes”.

Then: Republicans in the U.S. House passed a bill that would cut $1.1 billion from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which funds public television and radio stations across the country.

Now: Democrats all across the country are sounding the alarm, because millions of Americans depend on these stations for fact-based news, educational programming, and more.
