I’m Amy Freeman — wilderness outfitter, author, educator, and passionate advocate for the Boundary Waters. This summer, I’m running Grandma’s Marathon and set a goal to raise over $1,000 for the love of the Boundary Waters .

But you don’t have to run 26.2 miles to stand up for this place we all cherish. Whether you're paddling, hiking, or making a donation from a hammock, you can show up for this Wilderness.

Until June 28, outdoor lovers from all over the country are coming together For the Love of the Boundary Waters — a national movement to raise funds, rally support, and protect the Boundary Waters for future generations.

🛶 Set your own summer challenge – You don’t have to run a marathon! Choose something that speaks to you: paddle your favorite lake, hike a beloved trail, bike your commute, or even fundraise from your hammock. Your goal, your way.
