And if we don’t fight him and his extremists, in every way we can, we will lose everywhere and our democracy will be unalterably damaged, if not destroyed.

With the stakes so high, there’s no room to remain an onlooker. If we want to stop the rise of authoritarianism, we each must make the choice to take action. We can't wait for things to get worse or expect some cavalry to ride in and rescue our democracy — you and I, we are the cavalry.

Remember — this is not over. We are still in control of our own destiny. We are the stewards of our democracy. And we still have it in our power to shape our country’s future.

The hard work of fighting for our rights and fighting for what’s right is happening all around us, and we need you with us every step of the way.
