The City of Riverton, Wyoming, will conduct a public meeting at 5:00 pm, local time, on July 8th, 2025, in the Riverton City Hall Council Chambers. The purpose of the meeting is to allow citizens to review and comment on the following project. City of Riverton – Lead Service Line Investigation Equipment Purchasing.
At the meeting, the City of Riverton will present the scope of the lead service line project and will discuss the estimated cost of the equipment and the plan for funding the equipment. Based on current cost estimates, the City of Riverton plans to borrow $905,500 from the Wyoming Drinking Water State Revolving Loan Fund administered by the Wyoming Office of State Lands and Investments. City of Riverton Capital Improvement Funds will repay the loan; there is no expected change to user rates. It is anticipated that there will be a 25% to 50% principal forgiveness for the loan. Loan terms will be 0.0% interest rate and 20 years, depending on the useful life of the equipment purchased.
