Did you read in the news that Harvard and other elite universities are fighting the Trump administration to keep billions of your taxpayer dollars in their pockets?

In light of that, I’d like to remind you of three words that help define Hillsdale College:

NOT. ONE. PENNY.

That’s how much Hillsdale College accepts in federal or state funding.
 
To remain free and independent, we even reject indirect aid, such as student grants and loans.
 
This makes Hillsdale almost unique among American colleges and universities, which gorge themselves on billions of taxpayer dollars each year.
 
Refusing to take government money means we are (thankfully!) free of corrupting bureaucratic meddling. 
 
This independence also allows for something else—something at the heart of Hillsdale’s mission. It drives the College to reach and teach millions of Americans about our nation’s great heritage of liberty.
