Chairwoman Stefanik Receives New York State Conservative Party’s Michael R.
Long Award


House Republican Leadership Chairwoman Elise Stefanik was deeply honored to
receive the Michael R. Long Award from the New York State Conservative Party at
their third annual Welcome to Summer Dinner, a recognition named after one of
her earliest mentors and dearest friends, Chairman Michael Long.


Chairman Long was not only a powerful force in New York's conservative
movement, but he was also a personal guide and source of strength for
Chairwoman Stefanik during her time as a public servant.


Also in attendance at the dinner were Chairman of the Republican National
Committee Michael Whatley, Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (NY-11), Rep. Mike Lawler
(NY-17), New York State Senate Minority Leader Rob Ortt, and Assembly Minority
Leader Will Barclay, who are all key partners in the fight to SAVE NEW YORK!


House Republican Leadership Chairwoman Elise Stefanik stated –


“Thank you to the New York State Conservative Party for the honor of receiving
the Michael R. Long Award this evening with the Long family present, especially

Chairwoman Stefanik Campaigning across the Empire State!


This week, House Republican Leadership Chairwoman Elise Stefanik hosted an
evening reception in Saratoga County, a campaign event in Manhattan, followed
by a stop out in Suffolk with her good friend and colleague Nick LaLota, plus a
visit to Smithtown NY for a GOTV event for Supervisor Ed Wehrheim.


Everywhere she goes in the Empire State, Chairwoman Stefanik hears the same
thing from hardworking New Yorkers: They're fed up with the crime and chaos
that comes from Kathy Hochul's radical left policies. Whether it's in the North
Country, Manhattan, or Suffolk County, the message is clear: It's time to SAVE
