Last month, House Republicans passed a budget that would gut free and reduced-price lunches for millions of kids, including thousands here in Southern New Mexico.

Let that sink in: they're cutting meals for children while handing out even more tax breaks to billionaires. And somehow, they're also just fine with Donald Trump throwing himself a $25 to $45 million taxpayer-funded birthday parade.

It's disgraceful — and it's exactly the kind of upside-down leadership we're fighting to stop.
