Dear Democrats,

This last Saturday, New Mexicans from communities large and small, rural and urban, gathered at grassroots patriotic rallies to send the message that kings don’t belong in America.

While Trump was busy wasting almost $50 million throwing himself a lethargic birthday parade all the while slashing veterans' healthcare and services, an estimated 2000 No Kings rallies were held around the country. With homemade signs, peaceful intentions, and a common purpose that transcended backgrounds and even party registration, thousands of New Mexicans from every corner of the state joined other patriots across the country to rain on Trump's parade.

Take a look at just 18 of the "No Kings" Day rallies that were held across New Mexico.

But first, heading into upcoming elections, it will take all of us, on the same team, to keep fighting back against Trump and his authoritarian leanings. DPNM is already building the campaign infrastructure to take on the MAGA GOP in the midterms. We have to make sure we do our part to take back control of Congress.
