Stand With ICE. Pass The Big Beautiful Bill.
We either have a country and respect for the rule of law or we do not. What’s happening in Los Angeles is nothing but an anti-democratic riot, which Democrats are only encouraging.
Last November, Donald Trump won a decisive mandate on an America First message of securing America’s borders against Joe Biden’s unlawful invasion. A message that working-class Hoosiers overwhelmingly voted for.
Indiana families are counting on those of us here in Congress to pass President Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill so that ICE has the resources it needs to continue deporting illegal aliens. We cannot let them down.
Putting American Students First Act
I recently introduced the Putting American Students First Act. This bill prohibits the Department of Education from allowing illegal allies to access to a collection of taxpayer-funded college preparatory programs, the TRIO programs, intended for low-income Americans.
Taxpayers shouldn’t be footing the bill for illegal immigrants’ college prep when many of our own citizens struggle to afford the same opportunities. Click here to learn more.
I'm Proud To Stand With President Trump
Ten years ago this week, Donald Trump came down the escalator at Trump Tower and changed history. He’s never stopped fighting to Make America Great and I’m proud to stand with him. Click here to watch my remarks on the Senate Floor.
Leadership Matters To Our Recruitment Numbers
The military was struggling with the worst recruitment crisis in 50 years.
That all changed on November 5th, 2024.
Leadership matters and our service members know President Trump and Secretary Pete Hegseth will always have their back. Click here to watch my line of questioning at the Senate Armed Service Committee.
Delivering Digitally to Our Veterans Act
This week, Senator Mazie Hirono (D-Hawaii) and I introduced the Delivering Digitally to Our Veterans Act of 2025.
More than 600,000 veterans and 275,000 dependents use G.I. Bill education benefits. VA is working to modernize the program through the Digital G.I. Bill, but most communications are still sent on paper.
This legislation would allow veterans to opt-out of receiving hard copy G.I. Bill documents in the mail and instead receive electronic correspondence from VA. This is a simple, long overdue way to give veterans the option to go digital. It speeds up communication, cuts down on paperwork, and brings the VA into the modern age. Click here to learn more.
