The Week in Review
Happy Friday!
I hope you had a wonderful week. I am grateful to serve you all in the 119th Congress. Read below to see what I’ve been working on this week.
Honoring the U.S. Army’s 250th Birthday
We honored the United States Army’s 250th birthday on Saturday.
For two and a half centuries, the heroic men and women of our Army have defended our freedom and protected our Republic. We owe them a debt we can never repay.
Thank you to all who have served. Happy birthday, Army!

Celebrating President Donald J. Trump’s Birthday
On Saturday, we celebrated the birthday of President Trump—a man who puts America First. Who took a bullet for this nation. Who never backs down from a fight for the American people.
It’s an honor to serve alongside the greatest President of my lifetime.
Let’s finish what we started.
Commemorating Flag Day
I pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all.
There is no greater symbol of freedom and liberty.
Happy Flag Day!
Celebrating Father’s Day
On Sunday, we celebrated Father’s Day
Children from fatherless homes make up:
- 85% of youth in prison
- 71% of high school dropouts
- 63% of youth suicides
Fathers matter.
Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers in AZ-05 and across the nation. Thank you for all you do for your families.
Honoring the Life and Service of Officer Gabriel Facio
This week, I attended the funeral for Apache Junction Police Officer Gabriel Facio.
His service and sacrifice serve as a solemn reminder of the risks our law enforcement officers take to protect our communities.
Please continue to pray for the Facio family and the entire Apache Junction Police Department.
Hosting AZ-05’s Military Service Academy Appointees
I was pleased to host the 2025 Military Service Academy appointees for Arizona's Fighting Fifth District.
These students will bring integrity, honor, and leadership to their academies.
Godspeed, and thank you for your future service!

It was great to speak with Chris Clark and the Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce about the latest in Congress, Arizona’s water supply, and keeping the East Valley safe and prosperous for families and business.
Giving a Congressional Update to Apache Junction Chamber Members
I appreciated the chance to sit down with members of the Apache Junction Chamber of Commerce and moderator Warde Nichols for a productive discussion on border security, water resources, housing, and Arizona’s workforce pipeline.
Thank you to Central Arizona College for hosting!

It was great to attend the 20th anniversary celebration for American Legion Post 129.
It’s always wonderful to meet with constituents at events like these.
