John,

This week’s major international G7 summit told us something that should make every American pause.

Since 1975, just 6% of all G7 commitments have been about climate change. That’s already a low bar, and Donald Trump is making it even lower:

If you’re not familiar with the G7, it is an international forum for world leaders from the U.S., Canada, Germany, Italy, Japan, the U.K., and the E.U. to come together to discuss global issues. And while we know there’s no issue that’s more global than climate change, Trump’s influence is stopping even these more climate-forward nations from being able to seriously address the topic.

SEEC members in Congress are working to hold the Trump administration accountable and act before the President’s actions have a lasting impact – but we need your support. Will you rush a donation to join them? [[link removed]]

But here’s the good news: SEEC members aren’t backing down. They know that if America steps back from the world stage, climate disasters will only get worse, and opportunities to build a clean energy future will slip away.

SEEC PAC is committed to electing members who understand that climate change knows no borders. A wildfire in Canada, or a record heatwave in Europe, matters just as much as a hurricane in Florida. We can’t wait for Donald Trump to catch up to the science. We must act right now. If you can, make a donation today! [[link removed]]
