I’m glad I caught you before the weekend, John.

I know you’re receiving a lot of messages from candidates about the upcoming end-of-quarter deadline. Before I ask you to chip in $3 today, I want to share more about why I’m in this fight.

Unlike many in Congress, I’m not a career politician. I didn’t think running for office was in the cards for me.

But when I witnessed our representatives disregard our community in favor of the MAGA agenda, I knew I had to step up.

With support from people like you, I shocked the GOP establishment and defeated the last Republican representing Los Angeles County in Congress.

Now, the Republicans’ majority is hanging by a thread. Only three seats separate control, which is why they’re going after first-term incumbents like me who flipped red seats.

I’m facing early attacks in a coordinated effort to flip CA-27 back to red, but I’m not backing down. I’m proud to be in this fight for the Antelope, Santa Clarita, and San Fernando Valleys, but being in Congress leaves much less time to raise the funds we need to hold this seat.

That’s why I’m asking:

Will you chip in $3, or any amount you’re comfortable with today, toward my end-of-quarter goal? All eyes will be on our FEC report to see if we have the grassroots strength to win.
