Trump’s reconciliation bill is going through Congress — the one with all the tax breaks for millionaires and billionaires and all the cuts to Medicaid and other services people depend on.
It’s a grab bag of the worst stuff you can think of, and it’s only getting worse.
If that bill goes through as it’s currently written, it will put millions of acres of public lands up for sale. Land that generations of Americans have had access to, where they can hunt, fish, camp, hike, and enjoy.
It’s another giveaway to the wealthy and big corporations. Logging, mining, drilling interests want that land to exploit. The super wealthy want to take land from the public, restrict access to it, and build mansions on it.
It’s an absolutely terrible idea, and we’ve got to stop it.
The good news is millions of Americans of all political affiliations are against this. Republicans and Democrats alike love our public lands and they don’t want them taken away. In especially divisive times, this unites a lot of us.
Nobody wants this. Please, sign on and help us stop it.
