ACTIVATE: The Global Citizen Movement

Hi Global Citizen,

 

On September 5 we’re launching Activate: The Global Citizen Movement
<[link removed]>. This brand new
documentary series — created in partnership with National Geographic and
Procter & Gamble, — features artists and activists such as Usher, Becky G, and
Hugh Jackman, and aims to inspire action.

 

All six episodes look at different issues connected to extreme poverty and
follow Global Citizen campaigns, activists, and action-takers as they tackle
some of the world’s most complex issues.


This docu-series explores what it will take to end cash bail, break down
barriers to girls’ education, fund education for displaced children, end
plastic pollution and solve the water crisis — all critical issues to achieving
the end of extreme poverty.

 

Tune in on September 5 at 10PM ET/PT, 9PM CT on the National Geographic
channel and theGlobal Citizen Activate Hub,
