Last week, the Justice Department ruled that Trump has the authority to revoke national monument protections and the power to undo decades of bipartisan conservation work.
In case you didn't know, friend, Arizona is home to more than a dozen national monuments, including Canyon de Chelly, Casa Grande Ruins, Chiricahua, and Grand Canyon-Parashant -- monuments that do everything from protecting sacred tribal sites to the outdoor economy our communities depend on.
But now Trump's laying the legal groundwork to strip those protections so bloated corporations can exploit them for their own gain.
