Trump instituted an unethical gag rule, barring Title X funded health care providers, like Planned Parenthood, from providing reproductive health care. As a result, scores of clinics across the country have been forced off the federal family-planning program, which serves MILLIONS of women -- particularly low-income women with nowhere else to turn.

The gag rule will inevitably cause health care costs to skyrocket, making them unaffordable for those who are counting on them.

Trump is using federal funding to control the decisions that should be made between doctors and their patients. I won’t stand for his latest assault on women’s reproductive freedom, and I hope you won’t either.

John: This is just one chess move in Trump and Republicans’ unspeakable attack on women’s reproductive freedom and Roe v. Wade.

The Democratic House Majority advanced a measure that would reverse this dangerous gag rule, but it’s been sent to Mitch McConnell’s legislative graveyard in the Senate. McConnell needs to get back to work for the American people.
