Hi John,

When people gathered at Lafayette Square in Washington, DC to protest police brutality, they were met with rubber bullets, tear gas, flash bangs, and violence -- all so Trump could go stand in front of a church to pose for photos with a Bible.

Episcopal bishop of Washington Mariann E. Budde said this about Trump’s speech: “He did not pray, he did not mention George Floyd, he did not mention the agony of people who have been subjected to this kind of horrific expression of racism and white supremacy for hundreds of years.”

Instead, the president has threatened to deploy the military into cities across the country to stop the righteous protests of citizens seeking justice. He’s attacked the “lamestream media” and their reporters, who, while covering the events on the ground, have been targeted by the police, shot at, and arrested.

Right now, we need to hear from you in our new survey to see where you stand:

Do you condemn Donald Trump?
YES   NO

We can’t wait to hear from you. And if you’ve been out in the streets demanding justice, thank you -- we hope you are safe.

In solidarity,
A Woman’s Place
