** LIBERTY MATTERS: THE LEGACY OF DAVID BOAZ
------------------------------------------------------------
[link removed]

Throughout his remarkable life, David Boaz held many titles—most notably, Executive Vice President of the Cato Institute—but above all, he was a tireless advocate for individual freedom and limited government. His voice helped shape the modern libertarian movement, leaving an everlasting mark on public discourse and policy.

On the one-year anniversary of his passing, the Online Library of Liberty ([link removed]) 's Liberty Matters ([link removed]) series pays tribute to Boaz’s enduring influence. In a special memorial edition, contributors Andy Craig, Ilya Somin, Tarnell S. Brown, Aaron Powell, and Jonathan Blanks offer personal reflections and explore the continued relevance of his ideas in today’s cultural and political landscape. Check out their essays, which serve not only as a remembrance but as a call to carry forward the principles Boaz so passionately championed.

Though rarely read today, Philip Freneau was once the poetic voice of the American Revolution—bold, unflinching, and immensely popular. His 1771 poem The Rising Glory of America captures the distinctive spirit of the era, blending Enlightenment ideals with deep theological conviction. This month, William B. Allen revisits that vital tension between reason and faith in his lead essay, “Men Will Be Men.” Explore his insights—and Freneau’s powerful verse in the latest release of A Call to Liberty ([link removed]) .
