Team,

On Juneteenth, we confront our country's painful past, honor the strength and resilience of the Black community then and now, and celebrate hope and freedom for all. We also recommit to living up to our highest ideals and rooting out the racism and inequities that still exist today.

Across the Deep South, Groundwork Project is partnering with community organizers working to unravel the legacy of Jim Crow in politics and public policy.

There are clear signs of hope for a more just and equitable future. Our partners report that voters are increasingly rallying around pro-democracy issues and that social justice movements are building steam.

To counteract the powerful forces of white supremacy and segregation still at play, a year-round effort is needed to engage voters and support long-term persuasion campaigns around protecting democracy, justice, and civil rights.

Team, our collective fight toward a more equitable and just future is ongoing and more important than ever. If you're ready to recommit yourself to this vital work, please add your name to this petition here: [[link removed]]
