Fourth of July events offer history, art, food
Your Fourth of July can look however you want. Make it especially fun with a state park event!
If you love learning Nebraska history, visit Fort Kearny or Fort Atkinson for fascinating reenactments and cannon firings. Patriotic quilts are on display at Arbor Lodge State Historical Park, and Fort Robinson's annual barbecue is not to be missed!
Pick one of these fun events and pair it with a low-key day of swimming, fishing, grilling or hiking (camping spots may still be available too).
